How affiliate links are labeled
When an article contains affiliate links, we disclose that relationship clearly in the article or near the relevant recommendation. We do not hide affiliate relationships in footnotes or use them to disguise advertising as editorial coverage.
Editorial independence
Commercial relationships do not determine our editorial conclusions, rankings, or factual reporting. We aim to evaluate tools, models, services, and infrastructure based on documented features, source material, testing where available, pricing, licensing, and practical use.
ComfyUI and paid cloud services
Our coverage of the open-source ComfyUI project is separate from subscriptions to paid services such as Comfy Cloud or third-party GPU hosting. If a recommendation uses an affiliate link, we identify it as such and The Signal may receive a commission from the provider when you make a qualifying purchase. A regular link to documentation, GitHub, or a service homepage does not by itself indicate an affiliate relationship. We do not describe The Signal as an official Comfy partner unless that relationship has been confirmed.
Newsletter recommendations
The same disclosure approach applies to recommendations in The Signal’s newsletter. If an email includes an affiliate recommendation or sponsored placement, the commercial relationship is identified in that email near the relevant recommendation. Newsletter subscription information is covered by our Privacy Policy.
Third-party merchants
Purchases made through affiliate links are transactions between you and the third-party merchant. The Signal does not control that merchant’s pricing, availability, returns, warranties, privacy practices, or terms.
