Who operates this site
The Signal is an independent publication edited by Chokri Boubakri, based in Tunisia. You can contact the publication through the Contact page.
What we collect
- Contact form submissions — name, email address, and message content, sent to us when you use the Contact page.
- Analytics — this site may use Google Analytics through Google Site Kit to understand traffic when analytics is enabled. This collects standard web analytics data (pages viewed, approximate location, device/browser type) and is not linked to your name unless you separately contact us.
- Newsletter — we use Resend to manage newsletter subscriptions and deliver emails. If you subscribe, we process the email address and any optional details you submit for that purpose. Reading an article or sending a contact message does not subscribe you to the newsletter. You can request removal through our Contact page and use the unsubscribe link in newsletter messages.
- Cookies — used for basic site functionality and by the analytics tool above.
What we don’t do
- We do not sell your personal data.
- We do not use contact-form or newsletter data to train AI models.
- We do not share your data with third parties except service providers needed to run the site (e.g. hosting, analytics), or where required by law.
Newsletter and Resend
Resend processes newsletter contact and email data on our behalf to support subscription management and delivery. Processing may take place outside your country. Depending on the email settings in use, delivery records and information about email opens or link interactions may also be processed. For provider information, see Resend’s Privacy Policy.
